Crystal Clear Chemistry was created when the author noticed that many students seem to be taking organic chemistry without any sort of aid to guide them, leaving them helpless to struggle afloat as best as they can so that they can look back and dread their time in the waters. Thus, the site became a personal project by the author to help students get through chemistry, from those who are struggling through the concepts to those who just want to look up a reaction mechanism, download a study sheet, or buy a good book for chemistry. Ultimately, it is designed to shorten and lessen the tedium of learning organic chemistry, so that students can take a breather, sit down confidently, take tests, do homework problems, and even, perhaps, enjoy the class a little bit.
Currently, Crystal Clear Chemistry focuses mainly on organic chemistry, as that is the specialty of the creator of the site, but in the future, topics on general, inorganic, biological, and physical chemistry may appear on the site. Check back often, as the site is updated frequently with new content for the ailing student!
